Just learning to use your new camera? Old camera that just isn’t being used to its fullest potential? Why not join me for a four hour workshop that will really put you in charge of your camera! This workshop is full of tips, tricks and helpful information to really get you off of full automatic mode and taking some great digital images in a variety of daily conditions!
We’ll cover camera basics including:
- The differences in cameras.
- What all those wheels, buttons and gizmos really do AND how to make them work for you
- Creative modes
- ‘FWiMe’ The easy way to set up your camera perfectly every time!
After the break … snacks included …. (YES, we even feed you!)
- Creative composition
- lighting and flash
- tools to help you create better images
- more creative techniques
We’ll then do some hands on shooting, capturing some really unexpected photos!
The cost is only $75 (+HST) It’ll be some of the best money you ever spent! Registration is limited to 6 participants.
This workshop takes place in the studio located at 1315 Crawford Ave, Suite 7.
Bring: Your camera and any gear that you would like to try out or learn more about. Bring a flash and a tripod if you have these items. If not, that’s ok … we’ll provide you with the gear that you’ll need for the evening to get the most from this workshop! Just let us know if you need items when you register.

Love to take pictures of your kids but feeling a little stymied creatively? These unique, 3 hour workshops not only teach you how to access and use the hidden features of your cell phone, but also touch on photography technique, posing, working with props and phone accessories, lighting and more!
You’ll begin by learning the basics of good imagery in an imaginative, interactive presentation. This presentation is approximately 1.5 hours. FREE child care is available on site for your child while you learn! Then we’ll continue with hands on creativity! We provide you with 3 sets in each workshop and you can take as many digital images of your child as time allows.
Four seasonal workshops are available. In each workshop you’ll learn something new. Areas covered include:

- Using your cell phone camera and accessing hidden camera features
- Props and Accessories
- Lens know-how
