More Than Modeling
For 12 years, Shine Photo’s Model Method has given young people a place to learn, create, build confidence and become part of a positive community.
Our structured programs combine modeling skills, photography, fashion, creativity and real-world experiences in an environment designed specifically for youth. Participants learn posing, runway, styling, working with photographers, set etiquette, personal presentation, portfolio building, safety and teamwork while taking part in professional photo shoots and creative projects throughout the program.

Students also have opportunities to participate in special projects, workshops, community events and creative shoots throughout the session.

Modeling Is More Than a Sassy Walk
Real modeling isn’t about a flick of the hair, a dramatic pose, learning a sassy walk or preparing for pageantry.
A model’s job is to help tell a story, communicate an idea and represent a brand. A great model doesn’t simply look good in the clothes. In fact, they understand the assignment. They know what the photographer, designer or brand is trying to communicate, and they have the confidence and skills to help them create that specific vision. Our programs build those skills while awakening confidence that reaches far beyond the camera.
Modeling requires confidence, professionalism, versatility and an understanding of how to work with photographers, stylists, other models and clients. It means knowing how to take direction, move naturally, present yourself appropriately and adapt to what a particular project requires. These are not only great modeling skills, but also amazing life skills.
