Graduation is a moment worth celebrating, no matter the age, stage, or cap size. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that Grad Central is now part of the Shine Photo family.

Grad Central operated under Alan Dickson Photography has long been a trusted name in Thunder Bay for timeless graduation portraits, and we’re proud to carry that legacy forward. With our fully equipped studio, online booking, instant digital downloads, and year-round availability, we’ve made it easier than ever to capture this milestone in style.

We specialize in all kinds of grads    from proud preschoolers in Kinder Grad gowns to college and university graduates with custom academic hoods. We carry a full collection of caps, gowns, and diploma props, including official hoods for Lakehead University and Confederation College. Whether you’re looking for a classic portrait, a creative twist, or a photo that includes proud family members, we’ve got you covered.

Each Grad Central session is guided by our friendly team and designed to make grads of any age feel confident and celebrated. The result? Photos that you’ll be proud to frame, share, and treasure forever.

So whether your little one is stepping up from kindergarten, you’re graduating with a degree, or it’s simply time to mark a proud achievement, we’re here to help you look your best.

Grad Central is now booking year-round at Shine Photo. Call to reserve your session while we update this site with our online booking.

Thank you Alan & Heather Dickson, and Happy Retirement!
